School students of the Bhopal capital made colourful and attractive paintings at a painting competition held here in a creative expression of the archaeological heritage displayed at the 17 different art galleries at the State Museum. Prizes of Rs 5000, Rs 3000, Rs 2000 and Rs 1000 will be given away as first, second, third and consolation prize to the winners of the painting competition which was organized in three groups.
Commissioner Archaeology Anupam Rajan said that 380 school students voluntarily took part in the competition. An exhibition of the students' paintings will be displayed with the aim of encouraging students. Shri Rajan said that this will also inspire other students.
Prizes to students
Prizes of the painting competition in the Primary School Group will be given to Shri Ridhhim Agrawal of Anand Vihar School (first), Kumari Gunjita Sharma of Vindhyachal School (second), Shri Mayank Singh of Brilliant School (third) and Ku. Khushi Raikwar of St. Zavier's School (consolation).
In the Middle School Group, the first prize will be given to Shri Mehal Ajmera of Delhi Public School, Bhopal, second prize to Shri Aditya Jain of Campion School, third prize to Kumari Riya Jain of St. Joseph's Convent School and consolation prize to Kumari Prachi Shukla of Government Sarojini Naidu School.
In the Higher Secondary School level third group, Kumari Pratibha Singh of Vikram Higher Secondary School will receive the first prize, Kumari Parvati Sharma of Government Sarojini Naidu School will get the second prize, the third prize will be given to Shri Tarun Patel of Kamla Nehru School and consolation prize to Shri Harsh Pratap of the same school.
