India has announced the valid status of Aadhaar card for getting PAN card as proper base officially.

Now onwards the income tax department of India is bound to accept Aaadhaar as POA and Id as per the circular released by Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) the highest body in IT.

It is very interesting case PAN card and Aadhaar both are valid official identity, can one be used to make other. Now it has to be watched when online forms will reflect Aadhaar status as valid.

Now let us know about the IT Rule which is amended by Tax Board affecting the Aadhaar status giving it legality. The Income-tax Rules, 1962 has been ordered to bear new name as "the Income –tax (19th Amendment) Rules, 2013 which shall come into force on the date of the publication in India's Official Gazette. This information on Aadhaar status is quite useful from general knowledge point of view as it reflects the historical change in old IT Rule.

The IT Rule 2013 is the base force giving Aadhaar the validity as id proof and address proof.

So Aadhaar was not official for Income Tax in past

The it dept notice is confusing me, please clear, before this order Aadhar was not official document and now they say it is good for making pan card, any way me waiting to online pan card with aadhaar handy for all purpose

One by one goodies coming in Aadhar basket

With Income Tax drive covering more and more new members of society, Aadhar is quite helpful in getting listed with new PAN,

I think many people will enjoy the PAN holder status
